Apart from just being fun, this was a big talent day by different participants like; our education director, Headteacher and teachers too.
This sports day began last year and this was now the second time having it. and it will continue.
This time it was so great because even our directors managed to buy a golden trophy and a goat for the winners.
Due to the small number of students at the moment, this made the officials to group the four houses into two whereby Mandela was joined with Nkrumah, Obote with Nyerere. The activities were put under three categories ie athletics, ball games that included football, netball and volleyball and also other activities like bible challenge,sack race, egg race, bottle filling and tug of wall ( rope pulling).
The best performers in various activities, were also awarded with some prizes. The best the following;Achieng Millicent as the best female foot-baller, Achieng Federika being the best Athlete with Edward Abraham on the side of boys, Othieno Godfrey being best foot-baller, Owere Sam as the bible challenger and Ayo Daphine in volley-ball.
We are here to share with you that as per the last year, the house that won defended it’s title and championship. Lastly, the day was very colorful as it attracted primary section to be part of witnessing.
